I’m not sure who needs to hear this, maybe just me, but it’s okay to be lost.
Too few people talk about being ‘lost’ in life. Everyone is so quick to share successes but what about failures? What about those days where you aren’t quite sure which direction you want to go in? Maybe you aren’t even sure what directions you have?
I’m lost right now. From the outside looking in, I shouldn’t be. I have a great fiancé, a great job, loving parents, some good friends, my own apartment and car. But I’m 100% lost. Just because it may look like you have the world, doesn’t mean you do.
Some of the greatest people I know feel embarrassed to tell me they are lost. Not until I admit it first do I ever get down to the root of how they feel. Some of the people who look completely put together are actually completely lost.
So let’s start something. If you’re lost in your life, I challenge you to tell someone. Tell someone and their response just might surprise you.
If you too struggle to find your purpose/direction in life, I feel you. I commiserate with you and I am a failure freak with you.
